Quick service and almost always open! Not the best, but for some reason a taste good and you will order take out again…and again. Central located
Although the restaurant doesn't seem in good shape on the inside, don't judge a book by its cover. I won't eat Chinese food anywhere else but here. The service and the love and care they take to make my food impeccable. They ask and you shall receive kind of resturant. My fries are always crispy, and my God, their BBQ chicken wings, always on point. I don't really get much of a home cooked meal because I'm always working, but this is as close to home as it gets for me. Thank you for the great food and amazing service.
Best Chinese takeout in Apopka! We have lived here for a few years and somehow struggled to find good Chinese spot. We stumbled across No 1 Chinese because my daughter had a craving on a Monday. For some reason, nearly everything is closed on Mondays in Apopka, but No 1 was open so we gave it a shot. Best boneless bbq spare ribs we’ve ever had! This is now our go-to for Chinese. The food is fantastic and the staff are so friendly! Highly recommend!
Waited over an HOUR! for my food when they gave me a time of 15 minutes only for my order to be wrong. I was given lo mein instead of mei fun noodles. They didn't have enough chicken for my order so they gave me a free soda instead. It seems they only start putting orders together when you actually arrive and not prior leading to multiple people waiting at once. The parking is absolutely miserable here. It's right in front of a super busy street that's very unforgiving and little to no parking anywhere else. They'll tell everyone on the phone 15 minutes but when you get to the location the restaurant is full of people waiting for their food.
I have lived in Apopka for many years and this is by far my favorite Chinese restaurant! I have never had a bad meal here and the service is always fast and friendly. I wish they still delivered. Keep in mind, they are closed on Mondays, which always seems to be the day I have a really bad craving for their food! Edit: 2/2024. They are now under new management and offer more than just Chinese food. They also have fried chicken, fish, red beans and rice, mashed potatoes, and more. Not sure how any of that is because I just get Chinese food. Their food is slightly different from the previous owners, but not in a bad way. The restaurant is cleaner and has been redesigned with a nicer counter and the huge monitors displaying the menu.
I just picked up my order right before closing and got some fried chicken.. they have the crispiest fried chicken here!!
Went to order pick up, got harassed there by a man asking for money inside the restaurant, he did this to each customer that came in. Wish they didnt allow this. I ordered sesame chicken and it came with no sesame.Thankfully I had some sesame seeds at my house. Overall the food was pretty good. My boyfriend really liked his sweet and sour chicken.
